Flame retardant gloves offering high protection against cuts (level C) and burns caused by the arcCUT electric arc by HF SAFETY, 18-stitch for protection against arc and cuts

arcCUT – flame retardant arc flash protection gloves

In today’s fast-paced world of industry and technology, ensuring the safety of employees is becoming a priority. Hands, as one of the most important work tools, are particularly exposed to a variety of hazards – from mechanical damage to contact with chemicals or extreme temperatures. That is why it is so important to use appropriate personal protective equipment, and in particular protective gloves adapted to the specifics of the tasks performed.

Occupational safety requirements clearly indicate that in environments exposed to high temperatures, sparks or electric arcs, appropriate personal protective equipment should be used – including flame retardant and cut protection gloves. Statistics show that hands are most vulnerable to injuries during work, so their effective protection is crucial.

Among the models available on the market, arcCUT by HF SAFETY stands out. These cut-resistant arc flash protection gloves made of flame retardant fibers protect the skin from extreme heat (LEVEL 4). Their structure also guarantees protection against cuts, which allows you to safely perform service work, m.in. The knitted construction (stitch18) guarantees a perfect fit in the hand and provides freedom of movement, while the ergonomic shape allows you to work comfortably for hours without losing dexterity. Thanks to the soft arcCUT microfoam coating, they offer a secure grip on the object. The model is designed not only to protect against high temperatures, it works primarily as a protection for the hands of employees performing activities with batteries for electric cars. arcCUT meets EN ISO 21420:2020, EN 388:2016+A1:2018, EN 407:2020 and ASTM F2675/F2675M:2023 to achieve ATPV Arc 1 protection level (6.3 inch/cm²), demonstrating their effectiveness in arc flash protection.

Choosing the right protective gloves is crucial to ensure safety and comfort at work. HF SAFETY products, such as arcCUT, offer solutions tailored to a variety of working conditions – from precision tasks in clean environments, to work in harsh industrial environments, to operations in extreme arc flash situations. Thanks to high-quality materials, modern technologies and compliance with international standards, HF SAFETY gloves provide reliable protection for workers in various industries.
